Trebor Developments has selected MCS Group Limited as the main contractor to construct a 78,458 sq ft (7,289 m2) quality, speculative industrial unit in Rotherham following the site purchase completion.
Work on site at “Atomic” at 31 East, Dinnington, Rotherham, located less than 2.5 miles from Junction 31 of the M1, will commence in May for completion in quarter four, 2019.
The building will be suitable for logistics/distribution or manufacturing uses, built to high quality, sustainable, standards.
Bob Tattrie, managing partner of Trebor Developments, said: “We are pleased to have selected MCS Group Limited as our main contractor and see work shortly commencing on site. This is the second major construction project we have awarded MCS this month.
“The development provides quality industrial accommodation to meet local and regional occupier needs and represents part of our national development pipeline of similar speculative, industrial, developments, delivering in the order of 3 million square feet over the next 18 months.”
