Harrogate Borough Council is taking its UCI Road World Championships roadshow across the district to enable businesses to prepare for one of the world’s biggest sporting events coming to Yorkshire.
The Harrogate Welcomes the World roadshow is stopping off in Pateley Bridge, Ripon, Knaresborough and Boroughbridge after Easter, showcasing how businesses can make the most of the nine-day cycling championships from 21-29 September.

Attendees will hear from local organising committee Yorkshire 2019 and Harrogate Borough Council. There will also be a marketing masterclass from Harrogate-based PR experts Cicada.
Thousands of visitors from across the world are expected in the district over the nine days of racing. There will be an estimated global television audience of 250 million and more than three million roadside spectators.
The roadshow will also be staged in Harrogate on May 8 at Hotel du Vin, 11.30am and June 5 at Wesley Centre, 5pm.
