Economic development chief to address Humber business leaders

The Humber’s regeneration and renaissance will come under the spotlight at a business leaders’ event next month.

Paul Bell, head of economic development at East Riding of Yorkshire Council, will be the guest speaker at the IoD’s Meet-Up Monday on 1 July.

Following on from the IoD’s sold-out Humber Luncheon with Kevin Keegan, which kick-started this month’s Humber Business Week, Meet-Up Monday takes place at the ergo building at Bridgehead Business Park, Hessle, from 5.30 to 7pm.

Entry is free for everyone, with the opportunity to connect and share ideas with fellow directors in a relaxed atmosphere.

Pat Coyle, chairman of the IoD in East Yorkshire, said: “We are delighted that Paul has agreed to come and present his ‘end of term’ report again, highlighting the challenges and opportunities presented by the Council’s regeneration and renaissance activity in the East Riding.

“Whether you have been to an IoD event before or not, you are welcome to stop by for a drink and pass the invitation to friends or colleagues who may be interested in attending.”
