Yorkshire Pro-Paving & Groundworks Limited have partnered with the Leeds United Business Club to celebrate its commitment to the region.
Based in Otley for more than ten years, as a Business Club partner, the company see their advert displayed around Elland Road throughout every Leeds United home game, in front of more than 30,000 supporters.
The business operates on three fronts; undertaking both domestic and commercial hard landscaping projects, in addition to groundworks packages.
Having predominantly relied on positive recommendations from previous clients to earn new business, joining the Leeds United Business Club represents Yorkshire Pro-Paving & Groundworks Ltd taking the next step.
Project manager Andrew Jackson said: “Most of the lads in the company are Leeds fans and the managing Director, Tom Armitage, is a massive Leeds fan.
“He’s a season ticket holder and currently takes two of his sons to Elland Road, and I am sure his youngest son will also attend once he is a bit older. Through the Leeds United Business Club, we’re trying to attract new business, whilst also reminding people that we’re still around.
“Since joining the Business Club, we’ve had more enquiries from the South Leeds area. We tend to work more in North Leeds because that’s where we’re located and where our reputation is strongest. I would expect that’s due to our recent paving works on Bremner Square and advertising at Elland Road.”
The Leeds United Business Club stems from a partnership between Eleven Sports Media and the Football Club. Yorkshire Pro-Paving, as a Business Club partner, see their company branding displayed on pitch and crowd-facing digital LED boards during every Leeds United home game.
Moreover, the business is shown on StadiumTV and StatZone screens located within the concourses, in addition to StatTracker social media content that is shared to the club’s official feeds. This approach enables the business to engage with fans at different points throughout each game, as well as reaching beyond the stadium, via social media.
Outside of football-related brand exposure, Yorkshire Pro-Paving use the Business Club logo on their company emails and website, and are invited to exclusive events, which have previously included a Q&A evening with Leeds United legend Eddie Gray.
Yorkshire Pro Paving & Groundworks Ltd is a Marshalls Approved Contractor, winning both regional and national awards for their domestic work with the company’s products. With a stellar reputation, the company has also worked on several high-profile projects around Yorkshire.
These have included Central Square in Leeds, Huddersfield University, and even Elland Road, furthering the paving business’ connection with the Football Club.
Andrew Jackson added: “We’re an approved contractor, which means Marshalls come out and vet our work and make sure we’re installing to their required laying specification and that our workmanship meets the high standards required to remain on their register.
“At Bremner Square, around Billy Bremner’s statue, there are thousands of personalised granite paving slabs and we laid every one of them. So, we’ve got that involvement with the club, which we are very proud of.
“Through the Leeds United Business Club, we are able to maintain that involvement and remind the supporters of who we are and what we do. I think being a Business Club partner helps show that the company is at a certain level and gives potential clients confidence in us.”
