Roger Marsh, chair of Leeds City Region Enterprise Partnership, has been reappointed to the national council of the Institute of Directors (IoD).
He will serve a further three years after his initial term ended in July.
The role of the IoD Council is to ensure that the organisation delivers the objectives of its Royal Charter, manages key appointments and holds the board to account.
In addition to his LEP role, Roger is chair of the NP11, the Government-funded board which includes the chairs of each of the 11 LEPs in the Northern Powerhouse area.
He has more than 30 years’ experience in business recovery, turnaround and insolvency and received the Lifetime Achievement Award at this year’s Director of the Year Awards, Yorkshire and the North East.
Roger said: “The IoD provides a powerful voice for businesses and their leaders. I am honoured to contribute to matters of national policy through my role on the IoD Council.”
