A Harrogate hotel has played host to the country’s leading meetings and events industry agents.
The event, organised by the Meetings Industry Association and attended by 120 delegates, was held at The Majestic Hotel – which is to become the town’s first DoubleTree by Hilton next month following the completion of a £15 million programme of investment.

Gillian Venning, the Majestic Hotel’s sales and marketing director, said: “This was a superb opportunity for us to showcase our newly refurbished facilities to some of the country’s leading meetings and events industry specialists, and it could not have come at a better time for us.
“The delegates were able to see for themselves the extent of the investment and the fantastic facilities we now proudly boast. And the comments coming back to us from them are second to none.
“The Majestic Hotel has been at the heart of Harrogate’s important conference trade for decades. In just a few weeks it’s going to begin a new chapter in its long and proud history when it officially becomes The DoubleTree by Hilton Harrogate Majestic Hotel and Spa.”
