ICS Ltd moves to new Leeds base

Leeds’ position as a growing media hub has been further enhanced after ICS Media Group (ICS) completed the installation of 23 studios in its new base close to the city centre.

ICS has grown year-on-year since its launch in 2002 and now boasts unrivalled broadcast and video production facilities in its new offices at 2 Park Lane, which includes enough studios to handle simultaneous sports broadcasts in over 20 languages.

Among its many services, ICS produces a live score football radio show for a popular African talk radio station, which transmits across football-mad Nigeria each Saturday and Sunday afternoon. ICS also exclusively supplies official horse racing commentary services from its new base along with off-tube studio commentary of all Premier League matches in 16 languages for bookmakers and publishers.

With three state-of-the-art video studios and specialist production kit, ICS is now expanding into new sectors to provide cost-effective video and production for companies in the region and beyond who are looking to use video to engage with their customers whether through social media updates, online advertising or as How-To Guides and tutorials.

ICS founding director Ian Holding said: “Many companies of various types and sizes have developed video channels and now regularly publish or stream to YouTube or distribute clips on social media as they know it is the most effective way to communicate with existing or prospective customers.

“We specialise in cost-effective presentation videos which we can package quickly and deliver in any required format or language.

“We have always been based in Leeds and have witnessed the incredible growth in both digital and more traditional media in the city at close quarters.

“The city has so much to offer and moving to our new state-of-the-art offices and studios has taken us up a level. The facilities are truly superb, and we now offer unrivalled broadcast and video production services in the north. We work on local and national projects, whilst delivering international AV services really does set us apart.

“It means if a company is looking to promote itself overseas, we can offer a full service with translation of the script, provision of native broadcasters, and efficient production and packaging of the video.

“Our facility is also ideal for media training and as a venue for video and radio presentation experience days, and we welcome the opportunity of showing interested parties around.”
