UK asset finance firm, Ethos, that specialises in sourcing and funding electric vehicles, has organised an electric vehicle test drive day at Rudding Park, Harrogate on 19 November from 9am to 5pm.
Ten electric vehicles from eight leading manufacturers with a range of values will be available to drive on the day.
With the Government’s announcement that from April 2020, pure electric company vehicles with zero emissions will benefit from 0% tax and no benefit in kind charges, coupled with low running and maintenance costs – this is a time that business owners should look seriously at changing their vehicles to a greener solution.
At the event prospective buyers can talk to the manufacturers, speak to a leading charging unit supplier and also discuss finance options. Anyone wishing to test drive a car must be over 25 and present their driving license.
Chris Brown, who set up Ethos Asset Finance in 2007 after two decades in the banking industry, said: “With the number of electric vehicle registrations rising and set to rise further with the new tax and benefit in kind incentives – this is a great opportunity for any company car driver/fleet manager to test drive electric vehicles.
“We’re pleased to be welcoming Tesla, Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Jaguar, Kia, Volvo and Volkswagen to the test drive day. This will give delegates plenty of options to choose from with a good range of price points.
“Energise Energy a charging unit supplier and installer will also be on hand to discuss any charging concerns customers may have. This is an event open to individuals and businesses who are seriously considering taking advantage of the benefits of going green.”
