The specialist hotels agency team of global real estate advisor, Colliers International, has sold Scotia House in Harrogate on behalf of seller Marie Lock. The B&B was sold from a guide price of £550,000 to Mark and Gillian Church who have moved to the UK from South Africa.
Situated immediately opposite the Harrogate Convention Centre, Scotia House is a lovely stone-built property with five en suite letting bedrooms, a breakfast room, owner’s suite, front terrace garden, rear patio and parking.
Peter Bean, director of hotels agency at Colliers International, said: “New owners, Mark and Gillian, have family connections to the North Yorkshire hospitality trade and had been looking for a well located B&B. Their successful purchase of Scotia House has given them a fantastic new venture in owning and operating a high quality business with a superb trading location, in one of the best towns to live in the UK.”
