Haddletons, the business advisory and commercial law firm which has its headquarters in Harrogate, has appointed managed IT services provider Integral IT, which is also based in the spa town, to provide all of its IT needs.
Launched just two years ago by well-known Yorkshire lawyer James Haddleton, the firm has already grown to a 27-strong team. Haddletons, whose services are delivered mainly by former in-house lawyers and successful business people at a fixed cost, recently expanded with the acquisition of Leeds-based IP Assist, enabling it to support spin-out and growth companies.
As well as providing managed IT support to Haddletons’ Harrogate office, Integral will also provide comprehensive cyber security services to ensure that clients have adequate protection.
James Haddleton, CEO, said: “Since launching in 2017, we have seen phenomenal growth and needed a reliable IT partner which was flexible and able to expand with our changing needs. We were aware of Integral IT’s solid reputation and, as we prefer to support local suppliers, they were the obvious choice.
“We were also very impressed with their understanding of our sector and their focus on cyber security, a major concern for law firms. So far, we have been pleased with the service provided by Integral – we feel our IT is in safe hands and we can concentrate on supporting our clients.”
Jonathan Edwards, managing director of Integral IT, said: “Over the last year, we’ve seen a raft of contract wins from law firms which not only need a reliable IT partner who can quickly solve any glitches, but who also want the peace of mind of knowing that their data is as secure as possible. We understand that security is of paramount importance, particularly in a sensitive sector such as the legal profession, and we have geared our services to provide this.”
Integral works with a number of other law firms including Harrogate Family Law and Bromets Solicitors. It is able to help companies work towards ‘cyber essentials’ certification, encompassing a full package of security services.
