Huddersfield based marketing and PR agency, KC Communications has been shortlisted in the TARGETjobs National Graduate Recruitment Awards following a nomination by the University of Huddersfield, the only company in Yorkshire to be shortlisted in the category.
Shortlisted for the AGCAS (Association of Graduate Careers Advisory Services) award, the category recognises excellence in careers and employability service engagement.
It highlights the strong relationship the agency has formed with the University of Huddersfield since it was established in 2014. Other companies shortlisted include Business West (nominated by University of Exeter), The Environment Agency (nominated by Brunei University London) and the Ministry of Justice (nominated by University of Gloucester).
Over the years KC Communications has welcomed ten permanent, internship and work experience students, with three of its current staff University of Huddersfield alumni.
It has also actively engaged with the Santander SME internship programme which supports employers to provide paid placements between four and eight weeks allowing the agency to talent spot and providing students with meaningful work experience to support their future career development.
