On behalf of established Leeds property company, Pullans, the industrial team at CBRE in Leeds has secured a new letting to Ferraris Piston Service Limited ( FPS ) at Unit 3 Whitehall Point, a new build speculatively developed unit on Whitehall Road, Leeds setting a new headline rent for mid box units in the region.

This prime warehouse unit provides 31,500 sq ft of high-quality accommodation and it forms part of a new scheme development of some 65,000 sq ft. The unit benefits from two storey offices, two ground level loading doors and a large secure service yard.

Whitehall Point is situated in an established commercial area, approximately 2.5 miles to the south west of Leeds City Centre and fronting the A58 Whitehall Road. The property is adjacent to the A6110 Leeds Outer Ring Road which offers immediate access to the M621, M1 and M62 Motorways.

The unit has been let for a term of ten years to automotive parts distributor, FPS, who are part of the Alliance Automotive group of companies to facilitate the expansion of their Leeds business.

Sophie Angus, associate director at CBRE Leeds, said: “We are delighted to confirm a letting at Whitehall Point to FPS Limited. Warehouses of this size are few and far between across the region, and as such we are witnessing pent up demand for good quality, new build units of this nature.

“Unit 3 was let shortly after practical completion and to achieve a new headline rent based on £6.50 per sq. ft shows the continued strength of the Leeds market and reflects the quality of the product and the location at Whitehall Point.”

Bruce Strachan, property director at Pullan’s, said: “We are delighted to welcome FPS to Whitehall Point and to have another established national company join our existing tenant , MKM Building Supplies, is a real endorsement for the scheme – they have been a pleasure to deal with through the process.

“CBRE also report strong interest in the final available unit of 13,500 sq ft and are hopeful of announcing a letting shortly.”
