Hambleton C E Primary School has received a donation of three brand new iPads from housebuilder Taylor Wimpey North Yorkshire, as part of a drive to improve the school’s resources.
The new iPads will be on offer to all pupils and will act as a learning aid for subjects including computing, English and science.
Tim Williams, headteacher at Hambleton C E Primary School, said: “We are grateful for Taylor Wimpey North Yorkshire’s support in improving our resources.
“Having only had the iPads for a short time, it’s already made such a difference to our young people and it’s been fantastic to see them excited at the technology and able to broaden their learning with these devices.”
Located on Gateforth Lane, Hambleton C E Primary school is a short distance away from Taylor Wimpey North Yorkshire’s Whitacres development.
Steven Ball, sales and marketing director at Taylor Wimpey North Yorkshire, said: “We take pride in supporting local communities near to our developments and we were only too happy to help when the school got in contact with us”.
“We hope that the pupils will enjoy using these new iPads and that they will help to school to achieve its fundraising goals.”
