Luxury homes development announced for Dishforth

A bespoke development of five luxury new homes has been announced for the North Yorkshire village of Dishforth.

Robinson Developments has confirmed plans to build Poplar Grange with properties now available to reserve off plan.

Poplar Grange is located in an idyllic setting, just off Back Lane between Thirsk and Ripon. The cluster of four-bedroom detached houses are architecturally styled on the red brick Georgian farmhouse and stone barn buildings from early 19th century Yorkshire, but with contemporary interior fixtures and fittings.

Robinson Developments has appointed local contractor PBS (Yorkshire) Ltd to start ground preparation works and hopes to deliver the new homes for occupation by Spring 2021.

John Robinson of Robinson Developments said: “We are delighted to release details for this stunning collection of new homes.  Poplar Grange is one of very few bespoke developments of executive houses in the area, providing spacious plots with good privacy, adjacent to open countryside, in a highly desirable area.

“Dishforth is a charming village with a strong sense of community and great amenities, yet it provides quick access to the A1(M) making it ideal for commuters working in the city but wanting peaceful country home life.   We are preparing the site and hope to be able to accelerate the build programme during the Summer.”

Individually appointed homes at Poplar Grange are named The Masham, The Bedale and The Helmsley and are all offered for sale with detached double garages and large southwest facing gardens. All master bedrooms have en-suite and walk in wardrobes with bedroom two also featuring en-suite facilities.  A snug/study, utility and cloakroom are also standard alongside generous sized living spaces.

Prices start from £550,000 with Help to Buy available for first time buyers.
