Leeds firm launches innovative new product to the property market

A new, high-tech, interactive product, created by UK based Boost3D, is helping to revolutionise the property market, as estate agents offer prospective house buyers multi-user live 3D tours.

Openhouse Live places real-time video chat inside a high-resolution 3D Matterport tour, allowing estate agents to turn remote viewings into virtual sales tools.

This ground-breaking technology, the first of its kind, syncs to multiple devices anywhere in the world, and lets participants take control and explore as if navigating a property in person. Another added feature, welcomed by those in the industry, includes the option to seamlessly view multiple properties within each appointment.

This clever, easy to use tool, means estate agents no longer need to worry about time wasting downloads. Instead, appointments are created within calendars and thanks to a simple link, live tours are up and running with clients in a matter of seconds.

Customers exploring properties outside the live tour experience also benefit from additional features created by Boost3D. Bespoke audio points provide tailored property information and direct access to Facebook Messenger means agents can live chat with potential buyers, answer queries and generate sales leads.

Since its launch just over a month ago, Boost3D has successfully secured customers from across the globe including Mexico, USA, Australia, Cayman Islands, Dubai, Germany, Denmark and here in the UK.

The clever concept was created by Keith McMahon and Mark Cuddy, who each have their own respective 3D companies – Venue View Virtual Tours and C3D Virtual Reality.

The pair knew they had a great product, but in order to roll it out to UK and overseas markets they needed to grow the business, so teamed up with another industry expert, Leeds-based, Apollo3D.

Mark Shepherd, Boost3D Partner and Founder and Managing Director at Apollo3D, based in Otley, Leeds said: “Keith and I have been working collaboratively for a while now, sharing ideas and creating innovative solutions for clients.

“We discussed the live multi-user concept and straight away realised this was something that could be developed and really grab the attention of those in the property sector. Between us all we’ve collectively clocked up just over 100 years of experience in the technology industry, so linking up and expanding Boost3D was the obvious step to take.

“The challenges we’re currently facing globally have changed the face of the housing sector for the foreseeable future and we’re confident this product will help to inject some confidence back into the industry. Instead of leaving house buyers to independently view 3D tours, our product goes one important step further, allowing agents to personalise each tour and enhance the customer experience by being there with them.

“Another added bonus for sellers is it helps to take the stress out of having to set up multiple house viewings, encouraging genuine customers who’ve had a virtual tour with an agent to visit in person. On the flip side buyers can now view multiple properties in one session to help decide which is the right property for them.”

Scottish housebuilder, CALA Homes (East), is the first housebuilder in Scotland to offer customers show home guided tours via Openhouse live and Leeds-based estate agents David Phillip recently signed up to the service, having been shown the significant benefits it could bring to their customers.

Lesa Brown, Managing Director at David Phillip said: “We’re always looking for new, innovative ways to work with our customers and see ourselves at the forefront of embracing modern technology to do this.

“We were one of the first estate agents in the area to use 3D tours to showcase properties and have now enhanced this service by offering customers the flexibility to experience live virtual guided tour through Openhouse Live – available to our customers via Accompanied Virtual Viewings.

“Its innovative functionality will significantly transform the way we interact with our customers, as potential buyers remotely view high quality 3D tours, whilst our professional agents guide them along and answer questions.

“The clever multi-user aspect is a useful feature, giving family and friends the option to view a property at the same time. We all know buying property is a huge financial investment, so a second opinion can be invaluable.

“Openhouse Live is a real boost to the property sector, both during and beyond the current pandemic. It will undoubtedly give us and our customers the confidence to continue to buy and sell property safely and successfully.”
