Campaign launches to get Doncaster back to business #DNBacktoBusiness

A new campaign to promote and encourage business owners and investors to consider Doncaster as a place to relocate or invest their business is being launched.

The #BacktoBusiness campaign will also highlight many of the fantastic businesses already located in Doncaster. Business Doncaster is offering business support to any business requiring information and support over the next few months, whether that is returning to the workplace, recruiting, investing in future skills for their workforce or looking to relocate or expand following the pandemic.

Coun Bill Mordue, Cabinet Member for Business, Skills and Economic Development, said: “Doncaster has many exceptional businesses in the borough already and we want to build on this by supporting them, attracting new business, bringing forward further regeneration and infrastructure projects and stimulating more inward investment and growth.

“Businesses have put a tremendous amount of effort into getting back to business responsibly and in accordance with government advice. I urge everyone to Buy Local by supporting and visiting our local businesses, beauty spots and visitor attractions whilst also following the guidance and respecting fellow visitors and staff.”

Business Doncaster is inviting businesses to join the campaign and promote themselves through social media using the hashtag #DNBacktoBusiness

Business and investment information can be found on the council’s Business Doncaster website: www.wearedoncaster.co.uk
