The Guild of Media Arts in York is benefiting from a new partnership with accountancy and advisory firm Hentons.
The organisation supports creativity and the media arts across the city by connecting businesses and championing the sector in schools and the wider community. Hentons will support the work of the Guild by providing accountancy services and providing strategic advice on a pro-bono basis.
Olivia Chatten, Master of The Guild of Media Arts, said: “York is proud to be a UNESCO City of Media Arts and we are committed to future-proofing communities by championing culture and creativity. From the amazing work in our universities to our world-class businesses, York has lots to shout about. Hentons is providing invaluable support in helping The Guild continue to grow and deliver projects across the city.”
Hentons recently announced the expansion of its operation in York to better serve the needs of clients across North Yorkshire. The firm’s office, on Acomb Road in York, underwent a complete renovation and experienced accountant, David Walker, was appointed as a partner.
Thomas McCusker, an accountant at Hentons, said: “The Guild of Media Arts is undertaking invaluable work across York and we are proud to be supporting its operations. The city has a thriving creative community, and we believe that our expertise from across the UK can add value to the sector.”
Hentons supports the development of its clients’ businesses who benefit from a sector-led approach that ensures fresh thinking and constructive challenges with a practical understanding of the issues they face.
