Urban Logistics has instructed CBRE and joint agent M1 to bring to market Sixty2, a 64,603 sq ft industrial /distribution warehouse at the Leeds 27 industrial estate in West Yorkshire.
The unit, which is strategically located off J27 of the M62, comprises 59,570 sq ft of warehouse space with more than 5,000 sq ft of high-quality ground floor office space, including welfare facilities.
The unit offers a rare opportunity to secure good quality logistics space in West Yorkshire, coming to the market at a time when demand is high but supply of quality units is constrained. The unit will be available for occupation in October 2020.
Sophie Angus, associate director, at CBRE Leeds, said: “The Yorkshire industrial and logistics market continues to thrive and is arguably in better shape than it was pre-lockdown, when it was already performing exceptionally well.
“Occupier confidence in the region remains strong and we have seen minimal impact on lease terms and incentives on deals agreed during the pandemic. This unit is a welcome addition to the region and will help in addressing the supply demand imbalance for good quality warehousing accommodation.”
Ben Sawbridge, asset manager, Urban Logistics, said: “During the extraordinary times we are currently facing it is very encouraging to see a number of positive enquiries coming forward for Sixty2 through CBRE and M1 Agency. This gives us much confidence in the Yorkshire industrial and logistics market and local economy.”
