Leeds-based law firm Bevan Brittan has recorded its strongest performance to date in Yorkshire in the newly published independent directory to the legal sector, Legal 500.
The firm achieved impressive results across the board in the region, improving or maintaining its ranking in every practice area in Yorkshire.
Its Local Government and Healthcare practices have been ranked alongside Social Housing in the Top Tier, while four practices have been ranked for the first time: Property Litigation, Construction, Corporate and Commercial and Employment.
There was also individual recognition for Partner Judith Barnes, named once again as an elite ‘Leading Lawyer’, with Tim Gooder recognised as a ‘Rising Star’.
Bevan Brittan provides a full service offering in Leeds. Having recently celebrated its fifth anniversary in the city, the firm has significantly expanded since opening its Toronto Square office in 2015. Now home to almost 60 staff, including 13 partners, Bevan Brittan manages over 380 clients from its Leeds office.
Michael Boyd, Head of Bevan Brittan’s Leeds Office, said: “All of our practice areas have been ranked which is a tremendous achievement: four for the first time and three named in the Top Tier (two having advanced to that level).
“This, alongside several colleagues being identified in the leading lawyer and rising star categories shows the strength and depth of our team here in Leeds, which offers exceptional legal and regulatory advice across Yorkshire and the North of England, and nationally.”
