Newstead & Walker Solicitors has appointed associate solicitor David Dunphy to partner.
David joined the firm’s private client department in 2014 and has a wide range of experience in private client matters and advises regarding wills, lasting power of attorney documents, Estate Planning and court of protection work.
David also works with the firm’s long-standing business and agricultural clients to provide succession planning and tax advice.
David is a fully qualified member of The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and as the private client partner, he is committed to ensure the firm provides a high quality, professional and personal service to all its clients.
Managing Partner Robert Meadows said: “David has been a valuable member of the private client team for the last six years and this appointment to partner is testament to his dedication, loyalty and hard work.
“The other partners and I are really looking forward to the energy and enthusiasm that David will bring to the senior management team. The whole team see this as a fitting appointment as we look to the future and the New Year, as we enter our 200th Anniversary from when Henry Newstead first began practising as a solicitor in Otley.”
