Yorkshire Blogger Awards launched to find best blogging talent in Yorkshire and The Humber

The Yorkshire Blogger Awards have been launched to recognise bloggers, content creators and businesses across the Yorkshire and Humber region.

Leeds’ website and digital marketing agency Ascensor has announced their partnership with The Yorkshire Blogger Awards.

Kim Smith of Ascensor said: “We recognise the importance of innovative digital content, and are thrilled to support The Yorkshire Blogger Awards, which are about celebrating bloggers, and influencer marketing.

“Our region is brimming with creative bloggers, influencers and YouTubers, and we’re looking forward to receiving a wide range of nominations.  It’s exciting to recognise and celebrate the very best of blogging talent across our influential county.”

Whether a blogger is planning to educate, entertain or inform, the Yorkshire Blogger Awards will celebrate the successes of online content creators, living in Yorkshire and The Humber, across a variety of different categories.

Nominations for the awards are now being accepted and the contest involves two award groups. The first is the Category Awards.

Bloggers, YouTubers and influencers can nominate themselves for an award in one of ten sections.  There are categories covering Health and Fitness; Parenting, and Disability, Chronic Illness and Mental Health.  The Yorkshire Blogger Awards are also looking for blogging achievements in Beauty; Fashion; Food; Interiors; Lifestyle; Travel, and Weddings.

Kim added: “At Ascensor, we’re very pleased to be a partner for The Yorkshire Blogger Awards. They are a call to action to bloggers across our region. Whether they are creating online content about the joys and pitfalls of parenting, or dealing with the challenges and achievements of disabilities, or simply covering the latest in food, beauty and interiors.”

The second group is the Yorkshire Choice Awards, where members of the public are invited to nominate a winner.

Business Social Media Account of the Year; Special Recognition; Yorkshire TikToker of the Year, and Most Creative Feed.

“Blogging is also central to many digital marketing strategies, so if you know a content creator who deserves a Yorkshire Choice award for innovation and commercial contribution, as part of the Yorkshire Blogger Awards, then nominate them today,” she said.

The Ceremony is currently planned for Friday May 21, 2021, at Left Bank, a stunning grade II listed former church in Leeds’ Headingley district.
