Hull-based Rubicon Technical, a technical service provider to the consumer healthcare industry has announced its expansion into Europe this week.
The company, which specialises in regulatory and technical expertise for medicines, medical devices, food supplements and cosmetics, has opened its first European office in Amsterdam city centre.
Rubicon Technical Ltd, located at Hessle, has been successfully trading in the UK for 13 years and has experienced significant growth in the last six years through an expanding network of European and International clients. With a consistent 25 per cent increase in turnover for the past four years, the company’s 15-strong team is positioning itself for further success in the post-Brexit era.
The new Amsterdam office will be manned by a team of specialist experts including: EU QP, EU RP, quality and regulatory experts plus medical scientists.
The team will offer client support across technical and regulatory areas, services will include EU labelling compliance, product registrations, nutravigilance, pharmacovigilance as well as batch release. Existing Rubicon staff will be working in the Amsterdam office while the company recruits for staff in the Netherlands.
Rubicon’s founder and managing director, Kathryn Symonowicz said: “As our European client base grows, and with Brexit imminently upon us, this is the perfect time for expansion. Amsterdam is the ideal European hub due to its proximity to Brussels, easy transport links from our base in the UK and the existing pool of consumer healthcare talent in the city.
“As well as our existing services we plan to expand into warehousing and the distribution of consumer healthcare goods in early 2021. On a personal note, I have worked in Amsterdam for many years and believe this is a vibrant city in which we can thrive. This is an exciting time for Rubicon Technical and I look forward to leading the team to greater success in the coming months and years.”
