A free six week business support programme is being launched this month to help small businesses across Hambleton.
Administered by the District Council – and run by business transformation agency, Insight with Passion – the programme follows on from a series of workshops at the end of 2020.
It aims to help customer facing businesses, such as those in retail and hospitality, survive, thrive and begin to recover from the effects of the covid19 pandemic.
It includes six free online workshops, an accompanying workbook and a dedicated one to one business support helpline.
“We know small businesses in Hambleton are facing significant challenges, in particular during this third lockdown,” said Council Leader, Coun Mark Robson.
“Through the programme we aim to support as many business owners as to get through this current time, by bringing them together for the workshops and boosting their knowledge and skills. In addition, the mentoring calls will offer support which is specific to the needs of their business. I would urge any business owner in need of some help, advice or just some positivity, to take advantage of this.”
The workshops will focus on helping businesses adapt to online trading, deliver excellent customer service, and understand how to brand their business effectively, whilst also promoting resilience and encouraging business owners to collaborate with each other.
Supplementing the workshops, there is a dedicated one-to-one business support service. The service starts on Wednesday 24 February and will run from 4pm – 8pm on:
- Wednesday February 24
- Wednesday March 10
- Wednesday March 24
- Wednesday April 7
- Wednesday April 21
- Wednesday May 5
Businesses can book a one hour one-to-one appointment to discuss their business by contacting Business.firstname.lastname@example.org
