Acting on behalf of its client Reflex Labels, Avison Young has sublet the packaging company’s 17,000 sq ft factory on California Drive, Castleford to new occupier, Solupak Ltd.
Having experienced a rapid period of growth, Reflex Labels, which had been based at California Drive had increasingly outgrown the factory and has now relocated to a much larger 38,000 sq ft unit on Milner Way, Ossett.
Rob Oliver, principal at Avison Young’s Leeds office, said: “We were delighted with the interest shown in the unit in Castleford. It is very well located and benefitted from an enhanced power supply. We were able to quickly agree a new lease deal with Solupak, and dovetail the timings, so that the firm was able to commence its lease as soon as Reflex Labels had fully vacated the site. I’m sure both businesses will be able to thrive with the greater capacity they have created.”
Ian Kendall, MD of Reflex Labels, said: “We have seen considerable volume growth in this area of our business over the last 12 months or so, and knew we needed to relocate to facilitate that and ensure we continued to give excellent service to our customers. We are really pleased with how the new facility is operating and wish Solupak well at California Drive.”
Solupak Ltd., is a leader in the development and manufacturing process of water-soluble cleaning products, supplying the commercial cleaning industry since 1998.
Alex Thompson, MD at Solupak, said:” Moving Solupak to a new and improved site has been an exciting process. We are looking forward to getting to work in the new premises and we couldn’t be happier with the way the procedure has turned out!”
