An established family car wash business is the latest concession to open at a Bradford garden centre.
Handy Andy Car Wash Limited will open its 17th car wash site, the first in Yorkshire, at Tong Garden Centre on May 7.
The site will offer a range of car wash and valet services to visitors to the Tong Lane centre.
Tong’s commercial director Sharon McNair said: “A car wash is an ideal opportunity here at the garden centre. Our customers typically spend leisure time with us browsing in store, visiting Grass Hoppers or dining in our restaurants so this is a useful service to access when here. Handy Andy already successfully operate in many other garden centres and have a great reputation, so we’re thrilled to welcome them to Tong.”
Founder of Handy Andy Car Wash, Terry Fullwood, said: “We’re excited about the opportunities for Handy Andy at Tong. It’s a prime site with excellent footfall and plenty of space. It complements the existing food, play and retail offer at Tong perfectly.”
Established in 2008 and family owned, Handy Andy wash and valet over half a million cars every year. Services on offer at the Tong Lane site include a full range of hand washing services and mini and full valets.
