Sheffield-headquartered Henry Boot PLC has set out a ‘deliberately ambitious’ strategy to create a fair, accessible, diverse and inclusive working environment.
The company has identified five priorities to achieve its equality, diversity & inclusion strategy and has called on its current employees to play an active role.
The priorities include being led by diverse, inclusive and effective leaders who embrace the challenge of increasing diversity and adapting its recruitment processes to attract a diverse talent pool.
Henry Boot has said it will promote a culture where difference is celebrated and where everyone can contribute, be themselves, be respected and fulfil their potential.
The company will ensure that its people can develop and progress in their careers and commit to its equality, diversity & inclusion strategy in the community.

“This week marks the launch of our new equality, diversity and inclusion strategy. It is exciting to see hard work from many talented colleagues come to fruition as we share the first details of what we hope to achieve over the years ahead.

135 Henry Boot will focus on three core initiatives objectives: building community engagement, launching a plan to produce net-zero carbon, and developing diversity and inclusion, both within the business and local communities.
