IoD launches search for East Yorkshire ambassadors

Debra Leeves

The Institute of Directors (IoD) is seeking new ambassadors to help drive the business agenda in East Yorkshire.

IoD ambassadors ensure that everything the IoD does places the member first. They enable greater connectivity, create influence and drive professional development opportunities while giving a local voice to the Institute.

Each ambassador leads on a sector or portfolio area that best aligns with their personal business expertise.

Debra Leeves, chair, IoD East Yorkshire, said: “This is a great opportunity to build connections and shape the directors’ agenda in East Yorkshire.

“We encourage applicants from across the spectrum of directors, in order to truly reflect our region’s diverse mix of public, private and third sector leaders.

“If you are passionate about business, these voluntary positions are great opportunities to build your profile and be a leading voice for the IoD.”

Applicants should be IoD members with demonstrable personal skills in business leadership. In return, there are fantastic opportunities for them to grow their networks and influence IoD operations.
