Family run dementia care specialist provider, Vida Healthcare, is inviting people to a recruitment open day next week.

Vida Healthcare is looking to recruit day and night Carers, Nurses (General and Mental Health), Housekeeping and Kitchen staff and Wellbeing Coordinators for roles across its three care homes; Vida Grange, Vida Hall and Vida Court, as it continues to invest in the social care talent of the future.

It is holding the event on Thursday July 8 , at its newly built home, Vida Court,  on Harrogate’s  Beckwith Head Road.

Sam Rhodes, recruitment manager, said: “Vida Healthcare is an exceptional place to work. We are looking for people who share our commitment to providing the highest quality, compassionate care and to be united in excellence.

“Previous experience working with people who are living with dementia would be advantageous, however, we will guide you throughout your time with us with ongoing, specialist training through our Vida Academy.

“Vida Healthcare ensures that its staff are supported with a bespoke professional development training pathway. This not only ensures resident needs are met every-day, but provides staff with opportunities to achieve promotions and learn valuable caring skills.

“Most of all, we are looking for caring and conscientious people to join our team in meeting the personal care needs of residents in a way that respects the dignity of the individual and promotes independence – Enable first, Care second.”

Held at Vida Court, Vida’s Healthcare’s newest, state of the art care home that’s due to open later this year, attendees will be able to have an informal conversation about the roles available as well as have a look around the care home before filling in an application form.

Vida Healthcare has been rated Outstanding by the CQC at both its current care homes, Vida Grange and Vida Hall, for its ongoing commitment to providing exceptional care to residents and supporting staff to foster high quality, person-centred care.
