Insurance brokerage, risk management and consulting firm Gallagher has been appointed by Rotherham-based air purifier manufacturer Invisible Bubble, to support the business with its insurance requirements as the firm targets further growth, following a surge in demand for its services during the pandemic.
Invisible Bubble manufactures and sells air purifier units that reduce the airborne transmission of bacteria and viruses, including COVID-19. The sanitisers are designed for use within busy indoor spaces such as restaurants, bars, offices, shops and hospitals, and work to eliminate airborne pathogens and unwanted contaminants through ultraviolet technology.
From its headquarters based in Hellaby, Rotherham, Invisible Bubble serves clients across the UK in a range of sectors including healthcare providers, professional football clubs, large shopping centres and leisure complexes.
Following a competitive tender process, Gallagher won the contract as a result of its detailed understanding of Invisible Bubble’s risk and insurance requirements, and its ability to design a tailored insurance programme which covers the risks the firm currently faces, and emerging risks as it grows.
Gallagher is a leading provider of insurance and risk management advice, and has a sizeable presence in Yorkshire, employing over 300 insurance and risk management specialists across its offices in Sheffield, Leeds and Wakefield.
John Proudfoot, account director in Gallagher’s Sheffield office, said: “As a community insurance broker supporting local businesses, we are committed to providing a local, on-the-ground service.
“Our regional insight and local market expertise means that we have a good understanding of the risks affecting companies in the Yorkshire area, and can offer them bespoke insurance solutions, ensuring they have peace of mind to focus on running and growing their business.
“As the COVID-19 pandemic persists, indoor air quality and the threat of airborne pathogens within indoor environments remains a concern for organisations across the UK and we are delighted to be working with Invisible Bubble, which is leading the way in providing high-quality air purification solutions. We look forward to supporting the business on its growth journey.”
Craig Begbie, business support manager at Invisible Bubble, said: “Working with an insurance broker with experience and knowledge in our sector was a priority for us. The team at Gallagher were able to demonstrate that they really understood our business, and went above and beyond to help us find suitable insurance cover for our needs and budget. We’ve experienced rapid growth over the past year, with organisations in both the public and private sectors engaging our services during the pandemic, and Gallagher has provided us with confidence that we have the right insurance in place as we continue to grow.”
