The world’s first travel product marketplace, which champions sustainable and eco-conscious independent brands, has been launched by a York entrepreneur.
Good Trip Marketplace, which was launched last month by Danny Sullivan, supports independent and environmentally conscious businesses in the travel sector, putting products in front of an audience of travellers and holiday makers.
Brands currently featured on the marketplace include jewelry brand, Life Less Ordinary, travel clothing company, We Drifters, and sustainable toiletries brand, Posy London.
The launch follows the success of Sullivan’s first business, Good Trip Clothing, a premium souvenir clothing brand which donates 20 per cent of all profits to charities around the world. As part of a ‘Green Friday’ initiative, the brand recently planted 1,000 trees following a successful selling period over Black Friday.
Danny Sullivan, founder of Good Trip Marketplace, said: “I’m really excited to have launched Good Trip Marketplace and create something that’s going to help independent travel brands all over the world.
“We review the sustainability process of every brand we work with to ensure everything we sell is planet-friendly or helps to reduce waste, and I believe we’ve curated an amazing array of products that are perfect for any traveller.”
