ZenAuto, the fast-growing direct-to-consumer business of Zenith, is accelerating its growth plans with the appointment of Gemma Bacon as marketing director.
Gemma will drive the development of the brand across the UK and lead a team of marketing and digital professionals. Her broad remit covers everything from brand development to digital conversion, PR and the customer experience. She will report to John Tracy, CEO of ZenAuto.
Gemma Bacon said: “I am delighted to be joining ZenAuto at such an exciting time in the brand’s journey. The growth that the team have achieved in a short period of time is fantastic, and I look forward to contributing to its continued success”.
ZenAuto is currently running a national brand campaign on TV, outdoor and online. The ‘Don’t Buy It, Zen It’ campaign was developed by M&C Saatchi Accelerator.
Gemma Bacon has held senior roles across the financial and professional services sectors, most recently as the chief marketing officer at Mortgage Advice Bureau (MAB) Plc.
As part of Leeds-headquartered Zenith, ZenAuto funds its own fleet and, as a result, is well placed to support customers at every stage of leasing and operating their car.
ZenAuto attributes its growth to a focus on customer experience, evidenced by an ‘excellent’ rating of 4.8 stars out of five on Trustpilot. It offers customers access to thousands of vehicles on a simple, intuitive digital platform, as well as a clear monthly price and free delivery to mainland Great Britain.
Customers also benefit from a UK-based customer service team, instant quotes and the opportunity to fully specify a car or order one from stock with delivery in a matter of weeks.
