Estate agent makes raft of appointments across North Yorkshire

Yorkshire’s largest independent estate agent, Dacre, Son & Hartley, has made a raft of appointments and promotions across its North Yorkshire office network spanning Harrogate, Wetherby, Ripon, Pateley Bridge and Knaresborough.

Georgie Williams has been promoted to branch manager in the firm’s Wetherby office, where she will lead the team selling homes throughout the town and surrounding areas including Boston Spa, Collingham, Tadcaster, Spofforth, Sicklinghall, Bramham, Harewood, Scarcroft and Kirk Deighton.

Georgie joined Dacres in 2016 and originally worked in the firm’s Ilkley office, before being promoted to sales manager and joining the Harrogate office, where she has spent the last five years.

In addition, Alison Reilly from Dacres’ Pateley Bridge office and Dan Rice from the Ripon office have both been promoted to sales managers. Alison has worked at Dacres for almost 19 years and Dan joined the firm in 2018. The pair have both sold hundreds of millions of pounds worth of property in recent years.

In the firm’s Harrogate office, Alex Jackson and James Curtis-Bean have been appointed as sales negotiators. The pair live locally, in Harrogate and Wetherby respectively, and will now work alongside the team’s experienced branch manager, Sophie Tillisch, marketing a full range of properties from town centre apartments through to large family houses.

The North Yorkshire teams are led by area director, Paul Baxter, who also specialises in individual, high-end properties, new homes and development opportunities throughout the area.

Paul said: “These promotions and appointments will enhance the standard of service that our clients enjoy, and further strengthen our Wetherby, Harrogate, Ripon and Pateley Bridge offices.

“These are all complemented by the high standard of service that our Knaresborough office, headed by Nick Alcock, is renowned for, which gives us a very compelling offering in North Yorkshire.”

Georgie said: “The opportunity to head up Wetherby, which has an experienced and established team, operating across a large catchment area, comes at an exciting time for the property market. After the boom we saw last year, we are finding supply and demand is starting to level out more this year.

“We’ve already enjoyed a strong start to the year, generating multiple offers on most new listings. We now have good numbers of valuations booked over the coming weeks, but we’re keen to add to our stock levels, with strong local demand for all types of properties and particularly three and four bedroom family homes.”
