Made Greater appoints new MD as turnover exceeds £1m

Over the past 24 months, Leeds-based Made Greater has delivered multi-million-pound profits for UK challenger brands, seeing its own success soar in the process.

As such, James Maisey, who has been with the business for the past two years in an operational role, playing an integral part in the agency’s growth, is set to move into the position of managing director.

In his new role, Maisey intends to build on the strong core of the business by focusing on brand building and team development, whilst steering the growth and direction of the agency in an ever-changing digital landscape.

Founded by Oliver Jones in 2020, the performance specialist agency was launched to connect ambitious brands with their audiences using paid social channels, including Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat and TikTok. It is also adept at email marketing, PPC, and is developing its service offering to incorporate SEO to drive sustained growth for clients. The company now employs a team of 12 people and looks after the paid social strategies for 16 businesses, largely consisting of enterprising challenger brands.

Brands the business has worked with over the past two years include ITCH, the pioneering flea treatment firm, which saw the agency secure over 100k subscription sign-ups from pet owners, leading grocery delivery app, Weezy, and Apex Rides – delivering pre-sale and launch campaigns that catapulted the UK brand to the pinnacle of at-home exercise solutions.

With a keen eye for marrying data and consumer analytics with creative strategy, the performance agency draws on the team’s rich experience in the development of optimisation strategies, understanding consumer behaviour and using various programmatic integrations to monetise websites and build intent-based audiences.
