Ibis Wakefield East – Castleford has opened its doors following a refurbishment of the property, offering an affordable and comfortable full-service hotel ideal for business and leisure travellers alike.

The hotel has been redesigned in the brand’s contemporary Plaza concept, with modern industrial acccents and features throughout such as wooden flooring, exposed brick and metal shelving. A pop of cobalt blue contrasts this in the refreshed dining area to create a relaxed space reflecting the warm atmopshere of the surrounding area.

The hotel’s 62 bedrooms are furnished with a work desk and spacious Sweet Bed™ by ibis, ensuring guests will enjoy a restful nights’ sleep. A range of room categories are available to accommodate all kinds of travellers, from double and twin rooms to accessible rooms and family suites.

Guests can enjoy classic British cuisine at the Charlie’s Corner restaurant, as well as delicious cocktails and wines which are served throughout the day. The restaurant’s relaxed atmosphere provides an ideal setting to unwind after a day spent exploring West Yorkshire and its surrounds.
