Yorkshire Children’s Charity has announced the date for an unforgettable charity celebration, ‘A Night Under the Stars’ on November 4, 2022, following the charity’s official launch in January this year.

Yorkshire’s finest five-star hotel, Grantley Hall has been chosen to host the inaugural event, alongside becoming the charity’s official partner.

The evening is set to be one of the most sought-after social events of the year to raise money for Yorkshire Children’s Charity that supports disadvantaged children across Yorkshire with disabilities, sickness and those living in poverty.

‘A Night Under the Stars’ charity evening will be a glamorous gala event, starting with a Champagne reception, with exciting entertainment and several ‘money can’t buy’ experiences up for auction; all accompanied by a delicious four-course meal prepared by Grantley Hall’s Executive Head Chef, Simon Crannage and his team.

Yorkshire Children’s Charity launched at the start of 2022 with the aim of working tirelessly to support the 92,000 children in Yorkshire with disabilities and approximately 352,000 of the region’s children who are currently living in poverty.

The charity has already raised over £500,000 in six months to support those disadvantaged families and children. The star-studded evening will celebrate an incredible first year, whilst toasting to the future plans of this ambitious regional charity that has already given so much back to Yorkshire.

Yorkshire Children’s Charity has the privilege of welcoming a Royal Head of State as its honourable guest for the night, supporters of the charity have a long-standing connection with this particular Royal family who has passionately supported children at a disadvantage in the Yorkshire region for over 60 years.

Grantley Hall is honoured to be working with the charity’s team on creating a magical event, that will be held in a breathtakingly beautiful orangery, supplied by The English Marquee Company and dressed by florist to the stars, Fulford Flowers.

The full event will be designed and styled by the esteemed ‘party architect’ and legendary Royal party planner, Johnny Roxburgh. Johnny has generously donated his services to deliver a spectacular evening of fun for Yorkshire Children’s Charity’s guests.

The night will include a fireworks display and incredible entertainment including the Yorkshire Symphony Orchestra, along with more well-known surprise guests to follow, meaning it’s set to be an incredible night to remember.

Richard Sykes, managing director at Grantley Hall, said: “From the moment Yorkshire Children’s Charity approached us about hosting this event, the entire Grantley Hall team has been on board, and we can’t wait to showcase what the venue can deliver for such a fantastic Yorkshire cause.

“We are very proud of our Yorkshire roots, so the opportunity of helping to raise money to support children in our local community was something that we couldn’t turn down.

“Grantley Hall has a great network of luxury brand partners whom we are delighted to introduce to the charity to help make this event a success and highlight the very best of Yorkshire. It will be an incredible evening that is not to be missed!’’

Charlotte Farrington, CEO at Yorkshire Children’s Charity, said: “We have had an incredible start to the year since our launch in January and I have been blown away by the support from individuals and businesses across Yorkshire.

“This event is going to be extremely special, Grantley Hall is just the most beautiful destination and Richard and the team have gone above and beyond to support us. We are also incredibly honoured that a Royal Head of State has agreed to attend – it’s such a generous act of kindness.

“In just the first six months since our launch, we have already been able to make a tangible difference to Yorkshire’s most vulnerable children and fundraising events such as this one will allow us to elevate that important work.

“Whilst this event presents the opportunity to showcase Yorkshire at its finest, I assure you that we never lose sight of the responsibility we are entrusted with to raise significant funds for the children and young people who depend on us.”
