Holmfirth entrepreneurs to appear on Dragons’ Den

Lamb2Ewe's Jack Bostock and Tom Kitchen-Dunn

Two young entrepreneurs from Hade Edge, Holmfirth are set to appear on BBC Two’s Dragons’ Den this Sunday to pitch their ethical meat business.

Tom Kitchen-Dunn, 27, and Jack Bostock, 26, will ask the Dragons to invest in Lamb2Ewe, an online business which is transforming the way meat gets from the farm to the nation’s dinner tables.

Lamb2Ewe works by offering carefully vetted farmers a direct, online route to customers, getting the farmers better prices for their livestock and therefore enabling them to adhere to top welfare standards.

Co-founder Tom said: “When the opportunity came up to apply for Dragons’ Den, we jumped at the chance.

“Facing the Dragons was a pretty nerve-wracking experience but it was incredibly exciting to have the opportunity to present our business to such successful, inspirational investors. We’d love to be able to tell you how we got on, but you’ll just have to tune in and watch!”
