A Leeds-based healthcare digital agency is on track for a second record year in a row after its focus on accessibility fuels growth. Mixd is recruiting another 10 jobs from developers to account management and administration to meet demand.
The agency will see turnover increase 50% to top £1.3m this year. It operates across the healthcare and public sectors and has seen demand surge as organisations require higher quality web design that meets accessibility requirements for people with disabilities.
Mixd has seen recent project wins with University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust, one of the largest Trusts in the country, and the NHS South West London Clinical Commissioning Group, to help the organisation adopt the Integrated Care System, which is rolling out across the NHS.

The agency currently employs 13 people across the UK with hybrid or remote working available to all staff.
Mixd also won a new project with Alder Hey Children’s hospital, creating a new website and intranet. In addition, a new education and events website was created for the world-famous Guys and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust.
The agency built the first-ever mobile-friendly website for South Tees NHS Trust in 2012. It has now redesigned and launched the Trust’s website and intranet.
