Frame scores major data project win with Peazi

Following a non-competitive pitch, Frame – the West-Yorkshire based technology and data science business – has been awarded a new major data review-led brief from Peazi.

The project will see the company’s data science experts conduct an in-depth review and analysis of the app’s current data set.

Peazi was founded by Niels Nielsen and David Pickering, two hospitality industry experts who were frustrated at how difficult it was to place orders in venues. Both disliked filling in forms, downloading apps, or giving away personal data to simply order a drink.

Their mission was to create a solution whereby anyone could walk into a venue, order, and pay in less than 20 seconds, hassle-free. The online ordering system also gives operators the flexibility and scalability.

Over the coming months, Frame will undertake a comprehensive audit of all of Peazi’s data sources and will then provide insight and recommendations on what needs to be implemented in order to get the most value out of them. The core aim of the project is to make sure Peazi remains the UK’s leading online ordering experience provider.

This win follows recently announced projects for Halfords, which is the UK’s largest retailer of motoring and cycling products and services, and MPB - the world’s best marketplace for used photo and video equipment.

Frame was established in 2020 by Liam Fulton and Hannah Bratley. It is a technology and data science business that is headquartered in Slaithwaite but works with clients across the UK and internationally.

Its team of end-to-end data experts, who include engineers, scientists and developers, work across two core divisions: Consultancy and Solutions. The business is also currently developing a brand-new image optimisation product for the e-commerce sector which will come to market in Q1 2023.

Liam Fulton, co-founder and CTO, said: “Data science and maximising our clients’ data for commercial benefit is at the very heart of Frame’s offering so we are delighted to be partnering with Peazi on this project.

“Over the past few years – and especially through the era of social distancing – Peazi has led the way in delivering order and pay technology that has been embraced by the hospitality sector and their customers.

“Helping them to grow their reach and develop their service levels even further is an exciting prospect and we are excited to be helping them in this next phase of their evolution.”
